IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM YOUR PRINCIPAL, MS. EDWARD
To further safeguard Illinois from the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19, Governor JB Pritzker has declared mandatory school closures for all buildings, both public and private, serving pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students. The mandatory closing begins Tuesday, March 17 and we anticipate reopening Tuesday, March 31. There will be no activities at our building during this time. This reopening date is subject to change as this situation continues to evolve.
March 17-20- eLearning opportunities
March 23-27- spring break
March 30-eLearning opportunities
We are committed to keeping students engaged in their learning during this statewide school closure. South Campus will be providing students with work digitally if it has been determined they have adequate access to internet/device OR students will be given paper-assignments upon dismissal tomorrow. Teacher, therapist and other related service staff will be in contact throughout the week via phone, email and possible web conferencing in an effort to provide continuity of services. Our team is planning on maintaining current schedule for IEP meetings, however, this will occur via conference phone during the school closing period.
We will continue to inform you as quickly as we can about any further changes to school services. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Jessica Edward with questions at email@example.com.
We appreciate your partnership, and we will get through this together.
